Cecil is a 3-month-old kitten ready for adoption, and he is unhinged!

Cecil has a congenital brain condition that causes a mood disorder, which basically means everything about him is extra. Extra wild. Extra bitey. Extra lovey. Extra dramatic. Cecil has BIG emotions, and he experiences every single one of them at full volume.

When Cecil is awake, he is an absolute bucket of laughs. He is hysterically funny, wildly entertaining, and always doing something ridiculous. He plays hard, loves hard, bites hard, and seems to have absolutely no concept of moderation.

You’ve heard of an ankle-biter dog. How about an ankle-biter cat? That is Cecil.

Your ankles may be stalked. Your toes may be ambushed. Your hands may occasionally become the enemy. Five minutes later, Cecil may decide you are the greatest person who has ever existed and climb all over you looking for affection.

And when Cecil finally runs out of Cecil? He doesn’t gently settle down for a nap. He passes out.

Because Cecil’s behavior is caused by his neurological condition, his adopter must understand that he cannot simply be scolded or disciplined out of it. He needs someone who can laugh at his quirks, redirect him when necessary, and accept that Cecil’s brain works a little differently. For that reason, Cecil is not suitable for a home with children.

Cecil currently takes no medications and can potentially live a long, normal life. However, because of his brain condition (lissencephaly) it is possible that he could develop seizures in the future and require medication.

Cecil is part of Kitkat Playroom’s Wyatt’s Army Lifetime Program, which means Kitkat Playroom will cover veterinary expenses related to his neurological condition for the rest of his life, including future neurological medications if he ever needs them.

Cecil isn’t a quiet little kitten who will politely entertain himself in the corner. He is chaos. He is comedy. He is affection. He is teeth. He is enormous emotions packed into one very small kitten.

And for the right person, he is going to be ridiculously fun to love.
