DESCRIPTION

Tristan is a handsome one-year-old boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This playful, outgoing guy is always ready for fun and has never met a stranger--whether they have two legs or four! Exceptionally friendly and social, Tristan loves being part of whatever is happening around him and enjoys making new friends wherever he goes.
Living in a foster home has helped Tristan show just how adaptable and easygoing he is. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and enjoys having feline companions to play and explore with. Confident and fearless, Tristan approaches life with curiosity and enthusiasm. In fact, one of his favorite hobbies is chasing the vacuum cleaner instead of running away from it!
Despite his adventurous spirit, Tristan also has a sweet and affectionate side. He loves being close to his people and has formed a special bond with the human baby in his foster home. It's not uncommon to find Tristan curled up next to the baby, happily taking a cozy nap.
Tristan would thrive in a home that appreciates his playful energy, loving nature, and fearless curiosity. Whether he's entertaining you with his antics, making friends with other pets, or snuggling up for a nap, Tristan is sure to bring joy, laughter, and lots of love to his forever family.
If you're looking for a friendly, confident, and affectionate companion, Tristan may be the perfect match for you! 🐾💕This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home!

Select cats can be fostered instead! Apply on our website.

A cat's behavior in the shelter may not be what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat. Most often, in a home, they thrive!

Kitten Policy: Kittens must be able to socialize with other young cats or dogs as playmates, as it is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.

Due to demand, we do not place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet all cats or kittens available for adoption at the time of visit.

If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Fill out an application, which can be found at https://www.ctcatconnection.org/get-involved/
