Peanut - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Winchester, Virginia

Meet Peanut!

Peanut is an 8 year old female tan cat. She is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated (FVRCP). She was surrendered to us 8/8/26 because she was peeing outside the litterbox and hiding in the closet. They had Peanut since she was little and had an older dog. However, recently they introduced a new member to the family - a puppy! Peanut did not like that. Peanut's time at the shelter has been scary but she no longer runs away. She still prefers hiding in her hut but loves rubbing up against peoples hands. She's using her litter box and while she was the only cat in her previous home she is doing great in a condo with others. Noted that they all have the same temperament. A quieter home would be best for her and ideally older children.
