Don't let the name fool you—Water Hazard is anything but trouble! This adorable brown tabby-and-white kitten is the kind of companion every golfer hopes to find on the course. Friendly, affectionate, and full of personality, he's a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with cats, kids, and respectful dogs.
Water Hazard loves to climb to the highest perch in the clubhouse (or cat tree) to keep an eye on his surroundings, and you'll often find him gazing out the window, watching the world go by. When it's time to play, any wand toy is fair game, and he's always ready to chase, pounce, and show off his kitten skills.
After a round of play, Water Hazard is happy to be scooped up for cuddles. He enjoys being held, adores belly rubs, and will gladly settle in for some quality snuggle time. Because he's such a social little guy, Water Hazard needs a home with another friendly cat—or a family willing to adopt a feline buddy alongside him. He thrives with companionship and would love a teammate for life's next round.
If you're looking for a sweet, playful kitten who is guaranteed to be the best kind of Water Hazard you'll ever encounter, this little champion is ready to make a splash in your heart!
We encourage you to consider adopting kittens in pairs! There are several reasons why
Water Hazard
would do good with a friend, including:
-Two kittens keep each other entertained - they will play and get all their energy out on each other in time for snuggles with you!
-Having two kittens to play with each other prevents "I'm lonely and bored" behavioral issues.
-Watching two kittens wrestle is quite possibly the cutest thing you will ever see.
-The kittens will teach each other "how to cat" and learn to be more social with humans and people.
-You'll save two lives instead of one!
Water Hazard
is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations,
neutered
, and litter box trained.

Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions or schedule meetings until your application has been approved. More information about our adoption process can be found on our website here: https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/
As an all-volunteer, foster home-based organization, A.R.F. Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. Please visit https://www.arf-il.org/events/ for a list of our upcoming adoption events.
