"Maximilian is one of the new guys in the green room. He wrote the book on being friendly. Max says “stranger danger? Never heard of it. A stranger is just a friend I haven’t met yet!”
With his dual-colored nose and little white boots, Max is a one-of-a-kind guy. He has appointed himself our supervisor when it comes to the cleaning tasks in the morning. He was gracious enough to inspect the buckets, steam mop, broom, you name it. He even gave our sneakers a sniff test.
I sat down on the bench in the green room and Max immediately jumped up and crawled in my lap. His only complaint was that I have a thigh gap and he kept slipping and falling between my legs. He decided a fair compromise would be to lay down and stretch out on my lap... He then staged a sit-in. He refused to get back up despite my begging, protesting, bribing and pleading. He stayed in my lap until I was just about fully into standing, then he looked at me like he was saying “hey! Get back here! I was enjoying that! I don’t care if you have more chores to do.”
He’s young and playful and a super goofball. He had us laughing at all of his antics. He stretched out to show us how long he is. He rolled over onto his back to show us how soft his belly is. He ran around and bounced off every surface imaginable. But he then settled down and came over for more snuggles.
Max is a great cat who deserves a good home that will give him an endless supply of cuddles, pets, scritches, and laps to sit in. He’s a very sweet, handsome guy and he’s already become one of the green room greeters."
