Pastina has lived with her foster family since she was about six weeks old. She was born April 16th. A heart murmur meant she was not spayed at three months with the rest of her group. We kept her, hoping she would grow out of it. She was recently spayed, and an echocardiogram confirmed the murmur is not related to heart disease. She is healthy, shows no signs of slowing down, and would be a wonderful addition to a family.
Pastina is our golden retriever in a cat suit. She follows her foster mom from room to room and settles beside her while she gets ready in the morning, unfazed even when the hair dryer turns on. She entertains herself by spinning in circles in the sink.
She gets along with everyone: cats, kittens, and especially the household bunny. She grooms the baby kittens who come into foster care, and she does the same for the bunny. She plays with all of them. Independent when she wants to be, she also loves human attention.
