Jade - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Waltham, Massachusetts

Jade’s striking green eyes are hard to miss, but it’s her dazzling personality that makes her a gem!

This sweet and social 1.5-year-old girl has traveled all the way from Qatar in search of her forever home. Gentle and affectionate, Jade loves to greet people and curl up on their laps. She’s also playful and curious, enjoying perching up high to watch the world go by and turning into a total acrobat when her favorite ribbon wand toy comes out.

Jade adores attention from her humans and would do well in a family with children. While she tolerates other cats, she’d much prefer to be the pampered solo pet in her forever home.

Because food was sometimes scarce before she was rescued, Jade takes mealtime very seriously and may make adorable, protective little growls while she eats—especially when other animals are nearby. It’s simply a remnant of her past, and she’s learning that she no longer has to worry about where her next meal is coming from.

With her sparkling personality and a heart of gold, Jade is ready to find a loving home where she can truly shine.

These fees fund spay/neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and combo testing (feline leukemia and FIV) for your adopted cat, rescue efforts, shelter, and veterinary care. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two!
