Meet Ber & Bolo ( about 5 months old), two brothers who also happen to be besties. They came from a hoarding/ neglect situation and were starved and sick upon intake. Luckily, these two are resilient and pulled through though not all of their siblings were as fortunate. Due to all of the early medical intervention and care, they have grown into quite the tolerant, gentle, and loving duo making them suitable for gentle children.
Ber (all gray) - As sweet and loving as they come. He is a purr box and starts rumbling before you even begin touching him. He cuddles wonderfully and is the only of his kitten counterparts who prioritizes affection and cuddling over play (though he also loves to play). Very food motivated, easy to trim his nails, takes medication like a little champ, is tolerant of being held and carried and kissed in the face. Gets along wonderfully with the other cats in the home and has good manners after an introductory period. He is still learning to find his voice it seems and gives the sweetest, nearly silent cries for pets and wet food.
Bolo (gray and white) - Slower to warm up and a bit more apprehensive, but ultimately a cuddle and love bug as well who chirps to communicate and meows when it is wet food time. Once comfortable, he is also a spunky and tolerant kitty who is gentle and occasionally gives soft love bites. He likes to run in front of his foster mom while she is walking and flop onto the floor while looking up at her expectantly for pets. He also does this on a few other designated pet spots in the home including the couch and the bed. He also can be a bit hissy when first meeting a new cat but he is all bark and no bite. He now loves and cuddles with all of the older adult cats in the home if they allow him to.
*Both of these boys need a home that will give them the time to acclimate at their own pace and build trust (took about 1-2 weeks after moving to their current foster home to full embrace the humans). After that period, they will reward you with plenty of love and laughs.
If interested send Marilyn an email and put the kittens' name on the subject line.Email: Marileealong@comcast.netClick here to watch a video of Ber and Bolo.
