Hello, I'm Johnny!

I never expected to find myself looking for a new home, but sometimes things happen that are completely outside our control. What I do know is that I'm ready to find someone new to love—and boy, do I have a lot of love to give!

I'm a true lover boy. I'm friendly with people I've just met and have no problem rubbing my whole body against a new person to let them know I'm happy to see them. I'm pretty chill with other cats, too, especially when they are chill with me. I haven't quite decided how I feel about dogs yet, but my foster mom thinks I could do well with a calm, respectful dog.

Now, I should probably tell you one important thing about me. New things and unfamiliar situations can make me nervous, and when I'm unsure, I may growl or hiss to let you know I'm not quite comfortable yet. But that's all it is—I'm talking, not fighting! Even though I don't really know my foster family yet, I've never tried to claw or bite. You could say I'm all hiss and no bite!

I'm still getting settled and my foster mom is learning more about me every day, but one thing is already very clear: I'm a sweet boy who really wants to give my affection to someone. I may have lost the home I knew, but I'm hoping that my next home will be the one where I can settle in, feel safe, and love my people forever.
