DOB: 11/12/2017
Sweet Pepper has had a hard time in life. Initially rescued from the streets as a TNR, she was abandoned by the woman who rescued her. Pepper doesn’t understand why but now she’s almost 9 years old in a foster home she can’t get comfortable in. She can’t be herself fully as she can’t adjust to the other cats in the home. She spends a lot of time in a cage because of this. Pepper is confused, depressed, and deserving of a much better life. She doesn’t ever want to be left behind again.
Our Pepper is adorable, charismatic, cuddly, and an excellent lap cat; she’s also in great health. She’s very affectionate towards her foster mom and just wants a human to keep her forever. She can be shy at first, but that doesn’t make her any less wonderful.
Pepper is constantly overlooked, not only is she a black cat but she’s also no longer a playful kitten. This has left her with no adoption interest for over a year. She just wants a good retirement home to love her. Pepper doesn’t need much, just some good food and good pets. She would do well with kids and dogs of all sizes, but doesn’t enjoy the company of other cats.
She’s already fixed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. She is being fostered in Riverside, CA. If interested in getting to know or adopting Pepper please contact her foster mom Becky at (951) 347-1426 or apply through shelterluv https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MRQ/Cat
