Sonnett - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Victoria, British Columbia

Hi! My name is Sonnet, although my foster mom usually calls me Sonny, Sweet Baby Girl, Precious Girl... or Little Monkey. When I was tiny, IBKC discovered I had pectus excavatum (funnel chest), a rare condition that required corrective surgery. Thanks to them, I can now run, play, wrestle, and eat like any other kitten! My spay surgery will be delayed until I'm a little bigger, but don't worry-IBKC will cover the cost.

Now, about that "Little Monkey" nickname... I believe every cupboard, cabinet, and refrigerator deserves to be explored. My favorite game is racing into the fridge before my foster mom can stop me. One day she accidentally closed the door with me inside, but luckily heard me yelling and rescued me. She says I should have learned my lesson... but honestly, I still think the fridge is pretty exciting! I've also tried very hard to convince the two resident cats to play with me. The fluffy senior tolerates me, and the big orange girl (who I secretly think is named Cruella De Vil) has made it very clear she's not interested.

Now I'm ready to find my forever family. I'm playful, curious, fearless, and full of kitten antics, but when playtime is over I'm also a champion snuggler with a motorboat purr.
