Ciabatta (bonded with Bagel) - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Verona, Wisconsin

Bagel and Ciabatta have come a very long way, and now these two little survivors are ready for a home of their own.

These bonded siblings were part of a group of 14 kittens found on an elderly man’s property, where four mama cats had been doing their best to raise them. Bagel and Ciabatta were the smallest of the group and arrived in the roughest shape. Bagel was battling a severe case of ringworm, while Ciabatta was dealing with feline lice and a significant upper respiratory infection. Both needed an extended stay in foster care to get healthy, and they worked hard to make their way through it all.

Today, they’re healthy, happy and officially ready for their next chapter.

Because Bagel and Ciabatta spent much of their early lives growing up in a cage, they can be a little shy and unsure at first. But underneath that initial hesitation are two sweet kitties who truly enjoy attention and are learning just how wonderful it is to have people love on them.

These two are bonded and should go home together. They’ve been through a lot side by side, and now they deserve to experience the best part of growing up: a safe, loving home where they can continue to blossom together.

Bagel and Ciabatta are ready to trade their difficult beginnings for cozy beds, gentle attention and a forever family of their very own.

This cat attends Saturday adoption events (10 AM to 2:30 PM) and Sunday Adoption Events (12pm to 3pm) at our Verona Adoption Center.
