Steve Rogers is a sharp-dressed, honor-bound feline who went from the smallest runt of the litter to America's first Super-Soldier Tuxedo Cat. Clad in a permanent, dapper black-and-white suit, he fights for freedom, justice, and extra treats.

Born a frail, scrawny kitten in Brooklyn, Steve was constantly pushed aside by bigger alley cats due to his small stature. Determined to protect his household, he volunteered for a top-secret experiment: Project Rebirth. After consuming a classified Super-Soldier Serum (hidden inside premium salmon paste) and undergoing a specialized grooming session, he emerged as a physically perfect feline.
He gained a flawless, sleek black coat and a crisp white chest—a natural uniform always ready for battle. After years of fighting the evil forces of HYDRA (the local neighborhood raccoons), he was accidentally trapped in the deep freezer while investigating frozen fish. Defrosted decades later, he now leads the household Avengers.

We also hold adoptions at the El Cerrito Petco every Saturday and Sunday from 12-4pm.

All cats and kittens who are adopted out through Community Cat Advocates have been tested, vaccinated to age appropriate levels, microchipped and spayed or neutered. We are a foster based rescue and all cats and kittens live in someone’s house when not at adoption events.
