Oreo & Tux: Looking for a Forever Family Again
Six years ago, Oreo and Tux left Paws Animal Shelter together and settled into what they thought would be their lifelong home. Recently, through no fault of their own, they were returned when their family welcomed a new baby and felt they could no longer manage both cats and a growing family.
Being surrendered after so many years was incredibly confusing and heartbreaking for these cats. They were clearly traumatized by losing the only home they had known for six years. Thankfully, with time, patience, and loving care, both have adjusted well and are once again showing their true personalities.
Oreo is the more outgoing of the pair. She enjoys attention, likes to explore, and still has a playful side that shines through. She's the kind of cat who wants to be part of the action and is always interested in what's going on around him.
Tux is a gentle sweetheart who may take a quieter approach to life, but he absolutely loves being petted. His affectionate nature and loving personality make him an easy cat to adore.
These poor cats did nothing wrong. They didn't ask to lose their family, and they deserve people who understand that pets are lifelong commitments. After experiencing such a major upheaval, Oreo and Tux are hoping to find a home where they will be cherished for the rest of their lives.
If you're looking for two wonderful companions who have so much love left to give, Oreo and Tux are ready to start their next chapter with you. Could your home be the forever home they deserve?
