Slang - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Tucson, Arizona

Slang arrived to the Hermitage with her babies in February of 2026 from a house of "too many cats". Sadly, she's just a baby herself and was not healthy enough to care for her kittens. We lost all but one of her kittens. It was a very sad start to her life with us.

To further complicate things, she wasn't very accustomed to humans so she wasn't thrilled about being around us all the time.

Slowly over time, after we got her spayed, she started to be more visible in the shelter. What we see before us today is a totally different cat. She's still a bit shy but can often be found in the front of the shelter. We know that she can trust when she gets to know you.

While she won't be a cat that you will take home same day, we know with a little bit of work, you will see what we see in this beautiful gem!
