Lovely Lola is the definition of good things come to those who wait. This girl has had a few recent upheavals in her life, so she's become a bit reserved with new people & places. However, she is learning to relax and trust, and has started giving some quiet mews and soft head butts as her way of requesting gentle head pets, before sitting and purring softly right next to her foster person's lap. Lola is more on the independent side and she sometimes enjoys playing with toys she can hug or bat around, especially if they have a little catnip on them (which she can smell from across the room!) She also enjoys looking out windows at “birdies.” Lola would do best in a quiet home, with a patient person, or family, that will give her the space and time that allows her to blossom and learn to trust and love again. The reward of earning her affection will be amazing and magical.

Altho Lola has been around other adult cats, and briefly spent time with small dogs, she would likely prefer to be your only animal pal, BUT could possibly adjust with slow and respectful introductions to other pets who respect her space. We don't know if she's been around small children, but not recently, and again, peaceful and gentle contact will be needed.
