If you're looking for a little shadow to keep you company, Trix might be your girl! This sweet one-year-old loves having her favourite person around and will happily follow them from room to room to see what they're up to. Trix is a laid-back, friendly girl who enjoys a good pet, belly rubs and being near her people. Once she finds her person, she likes to keep them in sight and follow along with whatever they're doing. She enjoys being part of the action without needing to be the centre of attention. Trix has a playful side, too! Her favourite toy is a spring toy, which she happily plays with all by herself. She also enjoys wand toys and balls, and she's just as happy entertaining herself as she is joining you for some playtime. Her favourite place to hang out is definitely her cat tree. She loves being up there and even sleeps in it. You'll also often find her sitting by the window or at the backyard door, watching the world outside. And if there are treats involved, Trix is definitely interested! Trix appreciates the important things in life: playtime, treats, good food (both wet and dry!), a comfy cat tree, and spending time with her people. She's not much of a pick-up-and-carry or lap-cat type, and she's happiest when she can choose when and how she gets affection. But once she's comfortable, she's a sweet companion who enjoys pets, play, and simply being nearby. We aren't sure how Trix is with other cats, but she would be fine in a home with someone home often.

Trix came to us after being found as a stray. She was pregnant and gave birth to five kittens. Despite being a kitten herself, she was a great mom to her babies.

Trix is ready to find her person and settle into a home where she can be her sweet, independent, playful self and continue her own kitten journey at last.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first-come, first-served.
