Jade - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Titusville, Florida

We are also welcoming little Jade to Five Friends

Jade is 6 months old and originally came into the county animal shelter at 3 months old. She was severely underweight and infested with scabies at that time.

Jade underwent treatment for the scabies and has been free from that for over a month. After treatment, Jade went to Project Hope at the Brevard County Jail. This program allows inmates to help socialize cats and kittens and the animals stay at the jail.

Jade did very well and bonded closely with one of the inmates. The inmate was released and wasn't able to adopt Jade, so she just lost her favorite person

Two days ago, Jade was spayed and got her ear clipped. She's been up for adoption, but is very shy and didn't get any interest, so RTF (return to field) was on the table as a last resort.

Today we pulled Jade and she is home safely with us. She is scared and we will give her some time to decompress from all the change she's had in her life lately.

We will keep everyone updated with her progress
