Augustine, affectionately known as Auggie, is a 5-month-old kitten with an incredible story of resilience. He was found at just 5 weeks old being chased by dogs, suffering from a severely swollen and painful eye. His other eye socket was already empty when he was rescued.

After extensive veterinary care and treatment, the swelling resolved significantly, and his veterinarian determined that surgery was not necessary. Auggie has little to no vision, though he may be able to detect shadows. Despite this, he navigates his world with confidence and curiosity. He quickly learns his surroundings, enjoys exploring, and can even jump onto countertops without difficulty.

Auggie is an exceptionally affectionate kitten who loves attention and companionship. He enjoys cuddling, being petted, and spending time close to his people. One of his favorite things to do is jump up onto your shoulders so he can be as close to you as possible. If you're looking for a Velcro kitty, Auggie is your guy.

His vision impairment doesn't slow him down one bit. He plays, explores, and lives life just like any other kitten. What he lacks in eyesight, he more than makes up for with personality, courage, and affection.

Auggie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. He is ready to find a loving family that will appreciate just how special he is.
