Poppy is a sweet 1-year-old girl who has also spent far too much of her young life waiting for someone to choose her. She was at the shelter for a long time and was sadly at risk of euthanasia before getting her second chance with Huey's Rescue.

Poppy is understandably a little shy as she adjusts to her new surroundings, but she's already showing us that she's ready to come out of her shell. She doesn't hide away completely. Instead, she's happy to come out for tasty snacks and some gentle pets.

Poppy also gets along well with other cats and would love a home where she can continue building her confidence while surrounded by people who will appreciate her sweet nature.

She's only one year old and has already been through more uncertainty than any cat should have to experience. Now she's looking for someone willing to give her the opportunity to blossom into the wonderful companion we know she can be.
