A couple hiking found me in the woods. They went to get food for me; when they returned, I had not moved! They had brought a carrier and coaxed me in. I was scared my first days at the shelter. Staff gave me time to feel safe. I will also need time to adjust to a new home and family. A family with cat experience will understand the rewards of time and patience for me.
