Beelzebub is a truly special cat with a one-of-a-kind story. He spent his life as an outdoor, feral cat until he was spotted extremely underweight and clearly struggling with a severe mouth issue. At first, it was believed he had been euthanized, which made sense based on how unwell he looked in the photos. Then, just a few days later, a shelter reached out with a plea, and it turned out he was still alive. We pulled him immediately and rushed him to our vet for surgery.

After $2300 and 13 teeth, Beelzebub finally started eating again. Now he is obsessed with his food and can be very territorial about it, so he will need a special, patient adopter who understands his background and respects his boundaries. He really is a sweetheart, but he needs someone who will give him time, consistency, and a calm home.

Beelzebub is FIV+. He loves other cats, but he is cautious around dogs. Because he is still a little spicy, he would not be a good fit for a home with kids. He also has the funniest meow ever, and his tongue is always hanging out, which makes him even more adorable.
