Alysa's story could have ended very differently. Last winter, she was abandoned at our shelter's loading dock during a bitter cold snap. Thankfully, we spotted her before temperatures dropped to a dangerous 8 degrees and brought her inside to safety Whether she knew we'd rescued her or was simply relieved to be warm, Alysa immediately showed us what a loving girl she is. She was adopted quickly, but through no fault of her own has recently found herself back at the shelter and looking for a second chance.
