DESCRIPTION
Meet W. Edwards!
W. Edwards is a 4-year-old buff and white tabby with a gentle heart that's still adjusting to big changes. Shelter life has been overwhelming for him, and right now he can feel a bit unsure and defensive as he tries to make sense of it all.
What W. Edwards really needs is patience, kindness, and a calm home where he can decompress at his own pace. He's used to living in a home environment, and it's clear that's where he feels most comfortable and secure. With time, consistency, and understanding, his softer side is ready to shine through.
Underneath his nervous exterior is a cat who is simply waiting to feel safe again - and once he does, he has all the potential to blossom into a loving, devoted companion. W. Edwards is looking for someone special to give him that second chance to be himself again. He's available for foster or adoption at the Animal Protective League, located at 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. We are open every day from noon to 5 p.m.
