Maverick - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Spencerville, Ontario

Maverick is a handsome tabby-and-white gentleman who very quickly became a people person (cat?).
Maverick is a quiet, low-energy boy who would thrive in a calmer home. He’s the type of cat who doesn’t need constant excitement—he’s perfectly happy taking it easy and enjoying some love and attention from his humans.
He is very sweet and affectionate and will happily walk right up to you when he wants to be pet. He has a wonderfully straightforward way of communicating, too—his little short, to-the-point meow gets his message across without all the unnecessary fuss!
Maverick also gets along great with other cats. He mostly just does his own thing and barely acknowledges that the other cats are even there, making him an easygoing companion for a home with feline friends.
And then there’s Maverick’s adorable stubborn streak... He doesn’t always like to listen and has a talent for pretending nobody else is in the room when he’s doing his own thing. At one point, his foster family even wondered if he could hear because he was that good at ignoring them!
Maverick has not been exposed
to children or other types of pets.
Maverick was unsure of people at first, but within a day of being in the foster room he warmed right up.
If you’re looking for a sweet, calm, affectionate companion, Maverick may be your perfect match!
