Meet Tulip!
Tulip recently came into our care when her previous family was not able to provide care for the number of cats and kittens in the home. Since coming into our care, Tulip has been in a loving foster home to recover from her spay and to make sure she could be provided with any necessary medical care before adoption.
In her foster home, we have learned that once she settles in and is comfortable, she is curious, friendly and loves to play with her toys. Having a good variety of toys will help to appropriately direct her energy (rather than nibbling at fingers or toes for attention/play). She is active at night, so would really appreciate a routine of scheduled playtime to appropriately utilize all her energy (also, she loves catnip)!
She loves to check in with her person frequently, following you around wanting attention and asking for lots of petting (and of course, the occasional treat - she loves Churu!). Ample indoor enrichment will be essential to her being able to exhibit healthy cat behavior indoors, such as playing, scratching and climbing (she loves to be up high). Additionally, easy and convenient access to her litter box, possibly adding a second litter box, and keeping good litter box hygiene will be high on her list of requests.
