Nova - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Silver Spring, Maryland

Nova is approx. 1.5 years old, a female domestic short hair cat who wanted to be rescued.

Nova was found on the streets in Baltimore city, clearly hungry and looking for a home. She immediately approached a wonderful couple walking their dog and let them pet her, and willingly went into a carrier so they could bring her inside. She quickly became comfortable in their home and has shown no interest in escaping back outside. Her rescuer/foster has two dogs, including one energetic GSP, and she gets along great with them. She isn't looking to cuddle them, but she is not afraid of them and just keeps her distance if they get too close. She absolutely loves to cuddle and will immediately jump up next to you on the couch and will greet you at the door when you get home, asking for pets. She is playful, confident, chatty, spunky (she lets the dogs know who's boss!), and friendly. She loves to lay in a window to sunbathe and watch the world go by. Her favorite toy is a simple piece of string. Fosters have not noticed any issues with furniture scratching or chewing or even knocking things off couch.

Nova has received all of her age appropriate vaccines, she is spayed, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/Felv. Her adoption fee is $175.
