Edinburgh - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Shorewood, Illinois

Meet our beautiful and lovable girl, Edinburgh or Edin for short! Edin was a part of the City Litter who came to us at just about 3-4 weeks old from local animal control with a nasty upper respiratory infection likely from a herpes virus infection. Edin had it the worst but thanks to our wonderful vets and staff nurturing her back to health, she made it through and is now a strong and growing girl! Unfortunately, her right eye was in pretty rough shape due the virus. It has made a lot of progress healing from what it once was, and the scar tissue is still healing, but that eye may always look a bit off. She may have flare ups with some eye discharge. We're hoping to find her a wonderful home to love and spoil this girl! She's a sweetheart and we can't wait for her to be in a home of her own, as she has waited so patiently while getting medical care. She is so sweet and just loves to be with staff and volunteers.
