Spinelli - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Shippenville, Pennsylvania

Spinelli was born in June of 2024 and spent her life at a hoarder house in Clarion County. She is healthy, and although a bit shy, she is friendly and very gentle. She'd love to get her own family to love and not have to share them and her home with 35 other cats!

We recently took in a large volume of cats from a hoarding situation in Clarion County, where approximately 36 cats were removed from a residential home. Clarion PAWS took 15 (plus 2 surprise kittens), and ANNA Shelter took 21. We decided to name all of the kitties after characters from the TV show Recess.

We also want to extend our gratitude to special volunteers from the Clarion Cat Initiative Group & Tri-county Animal Rescue Center, Pennsylvania, as well as the local police, who assisted with capture and transport. This was a true team effort by many organizations.

All cats have been spayed/neutered, Feline Leukemia and FIV tested, and received basic vaccinations, including a rabies vaccine, have been dewormed, and microchipped.

Rescue does not stop at the shelter threshold. We now face rounds of vaccines, flea/worm meds, FeLV/FIV testing, and spaying/neutering of all individuals.

- Adopt a kitty (or two). If you've been thinking about it for a while, please visit us and submit an adoption application! Making space in the shelter will ease our burden.
- Sit with our kitties during open hours. Totally FREE! Some of them are shy and not attractive candidates for adoption. Come in and curl up with a book, some music, or scroll through TikTok while you sit with them. Feed them some yummy churu slurries and play with string toys. Sounds boring, but it makes a difference.
