Special Adoption scenario - Black Bean is not officially a Safe Haven for Animals resident cat or foster. We are just trying to help his rescuer find a forever, loving home for this special needs kitten. Adoption would be handled separately from Safe Haven for Animals.

Black Bean was found in a front yard with his four siblings after their feral mama brought them to safety. His siblings were fortunate enough to find their way into the care of Fearless Kitty Rescue, and now it's Black Bean's turn to find a family of his own.
Black Bean may be a little different, but that certainly doesn't slow him down. His veterinarian suspects he may have Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), a neurological condition that affects balance and coordination. An official diagnosis has not yet been completed because additional testing can be costly. What we do know is that Black Bean has a noticeable little wobble — and absolutely no shortage of determination.
He is happy, playful, curious, and wonderfully affectionate. His wobble doesn't stop him from enjoying life, and he approaches every adventure with the same enthusiasm as any other kitten. He may need a little extra patience and a safe environment as he grows, but he doesn't need anyone to feel sorry for him. He just needs someone willing to see the amazing kitten behind the wobble.
And if you're looking for a cuddle companion, Black Bean may be your dream kitten. He is cat friendly, dog friendly, and absolutely adores people. His favorite place is wherever you are — curled up in your lap, perched on your shoulder, or snuggled into your hair while he purrs away. He even loves making beans instead of biscuits, because apparently he takes his name very seriously.
Black Bean has received his first kitten vaccination, and his veterinary records will be provided to his adopter.
He is looking for a patient, compassionate family who can provide him with a safe home, a little extra support, and plenty of love as he grows. In return, he promises what he does best: endless affection, nonstop purrs, silly kitten antics, and a lifetime of cuddles.
Black Bean seeks a family who will see that his wobble is simply one small part of the incredible little kitten he is.
