DESCRIPTION
Meet Barley, the brown tabby boy. Barley came into the Shelter with his mom Heather and two siblings Willow and Wheaton. It took this family a few days to acclimate but with time, they have shown that they love soaking up attention. Barley is one of the more outgoing kittens of the trio. He comes over for play and attention after a few seconds of getting to know a person. A home with other animals may be a fit with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Barley should be indoors only after adoption for his safety (as well as that of our local wildlife). Barley is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them
