DESCRIPTION

Bentley got his name from jumping into a multitude of fancy cars in the middle of his rescue. He rode over into the city in the undercarriage of a tesla and proceeded to loudly ask for help once there. Surprisingly(thankfully!) he was not hurt. He was understandably shaken up but warmed up quickly! Bentley was in that delicate stage of not quiet knowing what dry&wet foods were but not needing to be bottle-fed either. He ate a bit of slurry with kitten formula but ultimately should have Churu as his middle name as he downed so many of those in the first week!

Now about his personality - he is a very playful boy! He could really use a buddy to play with if possible. He bonds with others easily if they are okay with someone who has a good amount of energy! Usually in my home I see a bigger cat run as they are being chased by this small dust bunny of a kid!

With his humans he is a lap kitty - more over as he is tiny- he is a big neck/chest napper. He circles around a lot while on you, running into your chin, playing with a hair strand, putting a paw on your nose, staying really close to your face during this time. I take the opportunity to kiss his little fuzzy face and he just stays gazing back at me. As I have a wide range of kiddos who show differing amounts of dislike towards this move I'd say he understands it's an act of love. He likes to find a gap between your neck and chin and nuzzle up there especially during these cold days. He purrs and truly looks for at least some time he can carve you away from your phone screen. He really appreciates that eye contact.

When he gets a bit too playful I do switch up to using toys to make sure to teach him not to play with hands. There is a thin line between when he wakes up and wants to play again but he is taking big leaps in the right direction. Please stick with petting him in a gentle way so he knows hands are for petting, toys are for playing.

He is neutered, microchipped, and has his first FVRCP vaccine. He was too little to get the rabies shot. For indoor only rabies isn't an absolute necessity but most vets would recommend getting an FVRCP booster at 4 months of age (this is a first year of life requirement only).
