Little Pete started life as the runt of the litter, the kind of tiny scrap you worry a strong breeze might carry off. Well, Peter battled through illness and beat the odds, growing into a little black panther of a kitten, complete with a signature accessory: a jaunty little kink at the end of his tail, a permanent souvenir from his life on the streets. He wears it like a badge of honor.

Peter is stupidly cute, endlessly friendly, and affectionate to a fault. While he's full of energy and loves nothing more than batting toys around and running laps through the house, once he's tuckered himself out you can expect him to curl up in your lap for a quick power nap. He gets along beautifully with other cats - both young and old - and is being fostered with his brothers, Pickle and Pepper. He'd absolutely love a home with a playmate, someone to engage in kitty shenanigans with him.

He hasn't met dogs or small kids yet, but given that this is a kitten who defied literal survival odds, we're betting he'll handle a few new faces just fine.
