Hello there. My name is Calypso, and unlike some kittens I could mention (looking at my sisters), I don't feel the need to announce my presence every five minutes.

I'm a little on the shy side when meeting new people. I like to take a moment to check things out, make sure everything is safe, and decide whether you're worthy of my friendship. The good news is that once I know you're one of the good humans, I am more than happy to join in the fun.

And by fun, I mean PLAYTIME.

Wand toys, balls, toy mice, crinkly things that probably aren't supposed to be toys-I love them all. Once I get going, you'll see that beneath my thoughtful exterior is a playful little kitten who can zoom, pounce, and chase with the best of them.

If you're looking for a shortcut to my heart, I should probably mention that I can be bribed. Specifically with chicken. A small piece of chicken can turn me from "Who are you?" into "You are my favorite person in the world" surprisingly quickly.

I am an 8-week-old black-and-white girl with a sweet nature, a playful spirit, and just enough shyness to make earning my trust feel extra special. If you're patient, kind, and happen to have some chicken handy, I think we'll get along just fine.
