Dandelion is a goof and absolutely loves belly rubs.

You may notice something missing. That's right. He only has three legs. A freak accident occurred involved him falling off a shelf a mere foot from the ground. The fall shattered his shoulder blade and it couldn't be repaired.

Several months after his surgery, Dandelion wouldn't eat. Bloodwork would show that he had pretty much no calcium in his blood. In just a day, he couldn't walk. He spent a week at the emergency vet getting infused with calcium. They discovered that Dandelion has an incredibly rare disease called primary hypoparathyroidism, which is essentially brittle bone disease. This explains why a fall a foot from the ground shattered his shoulder and why he fell in the first place.

Dandelion needs to get his levels checked every three months and will need this for the rest of his life, along with medication.
