Flora’s the name, and people are definitely my favorite.

I’m a 1-year-old orange and white girl who came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter with a lot of other cats. That was a bit much for me, and I’ve learned I prefer cats I know... or even better, just focusing on my people.

I may let out a little hiss with unfamiliar cats, but when it comes to humans, I’m all about the attention. Pets, love, and being near you are exactly what I’m looking for.

I’d do best in a home where I can feel comfortable and not overwhelmed, with someone who wants a cat that truly enjoys human companionship.
