"Hi, I'm Pebble - a 2-year-old grey and white domestic shorthair with a heart as big as they come! I'm affectionate and cuddly, and I absolutely love being close to the people (and my 4 kitties!) I care about. I'm playful and smart, with a gentle, kind nature that makes me a wonderful companion." Pebble was found as a pregnant stray who was so friendly and sweet when she was found. Shortly after coming into rescue, Pebble gave birth to a litter who she loves and protects very much. In the first couple of weeks she was in and out of the hospital being treated for an infection but when she was reunited with her tiny babies she took right back to nursing and loving on them. She's the best mom!
Pebble has overcome many obstacles to make sure she, not only bad a safe place to give birth, fought for her life to get back to her babies. The patience, determination and love she displays is a testament to her personality and temperament. She's what I refer to as "kitty putty" because once she's picked up she relaxes and releases all muscles and allows for all of the kisses and hugs from us humans.
Although it did take some time for her to trust other animals she's been doing fabulously with our resident animals now that her babies are older. But she can be fiercely protective of them!
Please consider adopting Pebble and you too can enjoy your best friend living with you.
