Indigo arrived at the shelter about a month ago as a stray, and at first, she made it pretty clear that she wanted absolutely nothing to do with us. She was standoffish, unsure of people, and perfectly content keeping her distance.

But apparently, we're pretty good at wearing cats down... especially when food is involved.

Little by little, Indigo decided that maybe people aren't so bad after all. Now she's discovered that she actually likes attention--and she has plenty to say when she wants it! Underneath that tough exterior was a sweet, talkative girl just waiting to feel safe enough to show us who she really is.

Indigo is spayed, vaccinated, and ready for adoption. After spending the last month learning that people can be kind, we'd love nothing more than to see her start the next chapter of her life in a home filled with love, patience, and plenty of attention.
