Nikolai - Domestic Short Hair and Russian Blue Cat for Adoption in Rochester, Washington

We were notified by someone that there was in injured feral kitty with a broken leg in their neighborhood. We were able to trap Nikolai with the thought that he would have to be euthanized. Turns out, he is super sweet and loving! He got a second chance and a leg amputation. Someone has shot him with a .22. He still has some bullet fragments embedded in his side. :( But that hasn’t slowed him down at all! He is FIV+ and sometimes gets a weepy eye from it but is otherwise healthy and will love a long life. Currently fostered with two kittens, he plays just as fast and rough as they do! He loves to be in your lap and by your side. He will walk right up to you and want pets and affection. He can get overstimulated at times and will nip to tell you he is done. He gives plenty of warning signs before then so if you understand his body language or have children old enough to respect his space that shouldn’t be an issue. He doesn’t like loud noises (maybe because he was shot with a gun?) but otherwise is a perfect gentleman! Oh, he also prefers the ladies as future furry friends rather than boy kitties.
