Ida B Wells - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Rochester, New Hampshire

Ida B. Wells - Female DOB 6/15/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Black and White- *Meet Ida B. Wells — Quiet Courage, Gentle Heart*

Ida B. Wells is a 1-year-old tuxedo girl who wears her perfect black-and-white suit like she means business, but her heart is pure softness.

Ida is gentle through and through. She’s not the wild, knock-everything-off-the-shelf kind of cat. She plays — oh, she does love her toys — but sweetly, politely, never rough. Think delicate pounces, dainty bat-taps, and then a proud little trot back to you.

Her favorite thing? Her people. Ida is a follower in the best way. Working in the kitchen? She’s there. Folding laundry? She’s supervising. Reading on the couch? She’s curled nearby, keeping you company. She wants to be where you are, part of your day, your little shadow in a tuxedo.

She’s independent enough to entertain herself, but she truly blossoms with gentle companionship. Ida would be happy with another gentle, respectful cat who appreciates soft play and quiet cuddle time.

Ida B. Wells is past the crazy kitten stage and right in that perfect young-adult sweet spot — playful, loving, calm, and ready to settle into a real home.

If you’re looking for a kind, graceful, follow-you-everywhere best friend, Ida is ready to write her next chapter with you.
