TV land has had several characters named Opie. Probably the most memorable is Opie Taylor, son of Andy, the sheriff of Mayberry, played by Ron Howard. I’m not a freckle-faced kid, however. I’m a very good-looking adult tuxedo cat who came to Paws and Claws from another rescue. If you love lap cats, I’m your guy! I love being petted, and I’ll soak up attention like a sponge. But a word of caution: You’ll need to watch my body language for signs that I am becoming overstimulated from too much petting. Know when to say “when”. I like to play too.
