It is taking me some time to get used to being in a new place, and I am nervous. I can be petted if I am approached slowly. My dream? I long to be safe, to be cared for. I desire comfort – a roof over my head, protection from the heat and the cold, good food to nourish me, companionship. Beyond that, I will perhaps dream of more…affection, love, a sense of security.
