Belated St. Patrick’s Day! My name, Murphy, is a common Irish name, I’m told. Did you know that it means “sea warrior”? There’s a saying that goes, “A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor.” I can’t say that I’ve ever been near the sea, but I was found along Highway 14 near Eastwood Park, that’s awfully dangerous too! I’m sure many other animals can relate! Now, thankfully, I am safe. I am a 2-year-old guy who is shy in new situations, but I do like being petted. I’m talkative, and I play some. If you stop in and spend some time chatting with me, you’ll find there’s much more to me than meets the eye. You’ll find that Murphy is worthy of love and affection, and I hope I can be yours forever.
