Otis - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Rochester, Indiana

Born to a feral momma, I will need extra time, love and patience to learn to completely trust humans.

I am a bit shy and coming around, since being in the care of FCAC. But a cage in a shelter is no place for a scared kitten like me to decompress and learn how to be a normal kitty!

If you are looking for a "project kitty" that you are willing to put effort in to winning over and showing that humans really aren't so bad... I'm yours!!

Please go slow and gentle with me. Soft voices and not alot going on around me, will go a long way in helping me to understand it'll all be ok!



Right now I'm scared of loud or fast moving things like little kids and I'm not so sure about dogs. Proper introductions are going to need to be done correctly and slowly, for me to understand I'll be ok.



Neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee is $80

Once submitted, staff will review your application during open hours. Please allow 24-36 hours for a response. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet! If it's a match, you can take your new kitty home the same day!

We do offer a 2 week foster to adopt trial time, to be sure the chosen pet is a good fit, before finalizing the adoption!
