Meet Pong, a handsome 13-year-old, male, shorthaired tabby who is looking for a very special forever home.

Pongs beloved owner passed away last month, and he has been understandably anxious and confused as he adjusts to life without his dad.

After losing the person he knew and loved, Pong needs someone who will be patient, compassionate, and willing to give him the time he needs to feel safe again.

Pong is a very sweet and gentle boy who enjoys cuddling with his person and sleeping beside you at bedtime. He can, however, be fearful of sudden movements and loud noises. When he feels overwhelmed, he may retreat to a quiet, safe place such as under the bed or in a closet.

For Pong, finding the right home isnt about simply finding a place to live, its about finding someone who understands that he has experienced a heartbreaking loss and will allow him to decompress at his own pace.

Pong is looking for a calm, responsible, indoor-only home where he can be the only kitty. He needs a loving companion who will respect his boundaries, give him time, and reassure him that he is safe and loved.

This sweet senior boy has so much love left to give. He deserves an incredible forever family who will see the gentle, affectionate cat underneath his uncertainty and give him the time he needs to blossom.
