SPECIAL ADOPTER NEEDED for REGRESSIVE FELV+ MAMA

Our sweet retired mama cat Bella was an indoor family pet until the family had a new baby. Bella did not adjust well so the family put her outside. Outside she became pregnant twice and ended up infected with FELV.

Bella is a loving, friendly, funny, beautiful girl who is (now finally) spayed, vaccinated, FIV-negative and microchipped.

We have had additional PCR testing showing she has REGRESSIVE FELV (Feline Leukemia) - which means she is NOT shedding the virus and therefore considered less of a risk to other cats. She is also likely to live a normal lifespan.

She can be an only cat - or in a home with older children. She has been in a home with other cats but not tested with dogs that we know of.

Or with the permission of your vet, she can be in a home with other FELV-vaccinated cats with documentation of your informed consent.

Regressive FELV cats can become progressive but are considered less risky to vaccinated cats.
