She likes to let her brother, Cidar, test out the new toys, investigate unfamiliar places, and make sure everything is safe before she decides it’s her turn. Once Chai decides you’re safe, though, her sweet personality really shines. She especially loves when her humans sit down and give her lots of scratches all over. That’s when her shy little exterior starts to melt and you get to see what a lovely, affectionate girl she really is. Chai may not be the first one to charge toward an exciting new toy, but she’s the kind of kitten who takes her time, builds trust, and then quietly steals your heart. Chai has done wonderfully meeting new cats and a small dog in their foster home, so she has already shown that with a little time and encouragement, she’s happy to make new friends. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle girl who just needs someone to give her love, Chai might be your perfect match. Chai will be 8 weeks old and ready for adoption about Oct 5th!

Our adoption fee is $190 for a cat or kitten. This includes spay/neuter, microchipping, combo testing, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick/ear mite treatment and any medical care necessary prior to adoption. We require all applicants to be at least 21 years of age. For the healthy development of our kittens, we require kittens under 6 months of age to be adopted into multiple animal homes (i.e. the home already has a companion animal or the kitten will be adopted with another kitten/cat).
