DESCRIPTION
Lakota is such a sweet girl with a fun personality. She has these big, beautiful eyes that are hard to resist, and she'll greet her foster family with little meows and head bumps. She loves getting pets and, when she's in the mood for some extra attention, she'll happily hop into a lap and settle in for some cuddles. She's also playful and curious and always seems to want to know what's going on around her. She doesn't mind being held and is getting more comfortable with it, but she's also perfectly happy to come find you when she wants some attention. Lakota definitely knows what she likes, and once she's comfortable with you, she'll make sure you know when she's ready for pets and cuddles. Lakota has been a wonderful mama to her kittens, but her babies are ready to move on now, which means it's finally her turn to be spoiled. While in foster care, Lakota has been curious about the other animals in the home. She's even rubbed up against the resident dog, which was sweet to see. Her interactions with the resident cats have been more limited since they haven't been especially welcoming to their new houseguest. Based on what her foster family has seen, we think she could do well with other cats and a calm, respectful dog with proper introductions and some time to adjust. She's sweet, playful, affectionate, and has so much love to give.
