Meet Claire!

This sweet girl is proof that a rough start doesn't have to write the ending. Claire spent her days outside in the Auchentoroly/Parkwood neighborhood in Baltimore city. When I first saw her, she was caring for a litter of 4 kittens....the kittens found placement and now it's Claire's turn.

Claire is about as affectionate as cats come. Pick her up and she'll settle right into your arms like a baby, purring almost instantly. Go in for pets and she leans in so hard she practically tips over onto her side (see video!) - she just can't get enough. She's easygoing, gets along great with other cats, and settles into new spaces without much fuss.

Claire's favorite things are eating (she used to be more svelte ), getting pets and playing with Da Bird. She is surprisingly a high jumper!

And Claire has the most beautiful ticked tabby coat, it's thick, soft and luxurious! You'll love to run your fingers through it!

She is a little shy with new people at first - give her a few quiet minutes to warm up and she'll melt right into you.
