Lila is a pretty soft grey and white young cat who entered the care of RCR following over a year of relying on one of RCR’s feeding stations. She was left behind when her previous owners moved away or chose to no longer want her, resulting in her fending for herself. During this period, Lila frequented a local RCR cat colony to eat but remained cautious and would avoid human contact.
It was then discovered that Lila had given birth to a litter of seven kittens. Both Lila and her kittens were safely trapped and placed into foster care.
Lila is a reserved cat who enjoys being petted, though she does not seek out lap time. She prefers spending time in her favorite resting spots within the house and observing birds and squirrels through the window. Lila interacts well with most other cats in her foster environment and appreciates cozy places for naps, engaging toys, treats, and a variety of foods.
Currently, Lila resides in a foster home with numerous other cats and therefore shares attention. She demonstrates promising potential to become more engaged with humans in a patient, supportive setting where she can further develop trust. While Lila has not yet been introduced to dogs or children, she would likely adjust well with appropriate, gradual introductions.
If you can give Lila the home she deserves for the rest of her life, please reach out to meet her.
